Frank Gironda Credit Card Policy

Beginning January 1st, 2022 Frank Gironda Salon will require a credit card on file to make an appointment.

Since the Pandemic, there have been an alarming number of no-show appointments and last minute cancellations. This directly affects the well-being of the service providers, as that impacts their paychecks.

You will NOT be charged at the time of booking. The card will only be charged if:

  • Appointments are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. Your card will be charged 50% of the cancelled service price.
  • Any appointment without cancellation is missed. Your card will be charged 100% of the missed service price.

FAQ's

Is my card safe?

Yes. All credit card information is stored with the credit card company, which is secured and encrypted. Frank Gironda Salons can only see the last four digits of the card number.

Why has the policy changed?

When clients do not show up, or have last minute cancellations it directly affects your service providers’ income.

Service providers get paid commission.  If a stylist has a last-minute cancellation, or a no show for an appointment which is scheduled for two hours, that is lost wages for those two hours.

We request respect for the service providers’ time and income for their families.

We are not fully staffed due to labor shortages.  By keeping a card on file, it will help lessen check-out times, and you will be able to charge your account automatically if you choose.

Can I still pay cash/check?

Yes. The card is only on file to reserve your appointment time, or to cover late/no show fees. You have the option of paying with cash, check, a different credit card, or the card on file.
